VOLUNTEERS ARE VITAL!
Most tennis clubs in Ireland are run by dedicated volunteers, who donate their time, energy, and expertise
to make the club a wonderful experience for all members. Without them, clubs would cease to function in
any meaningful way. But it is a constant challenge for many clubs to recruit and retain volunteers.

Tennis Ireland is committed to safeguarding children and by working under the guidance of
our NGB Safeguarding Policies our staff, both volunteers and employed, working with our
young people, throughout the organisation, seek to create a safe environment for young people
to grow and develop within sport.

Keeping Members engaged during lockdown

An exciting opportunity exists for a Tennis Ireland Level 1 Accredited Coach or above, to head up coaching at a thriving tennis
club. Coaching will take place at a number of levels, mini, junior and adult. It is expected an ambitious coach will develop
coaching at all levels and be influential in increasing Club membership across all ages.

Following the success of last years events Ulster Tennis are encouraging clubs again this year to enter the Timed Tennis Club Fundraiser and the monies raised will be going to Wheelchair Tennis and the NI Childrens Hospice.
