The Senior Interprovincials are run in August each year in one of the four provinces on a rotation cycle.

Each team consists of five men and five ladies, with a non-playing captain looking after the team. If the matches are not in Ulster, the team will travel to the venue and stay for two nights in accommodation for the championships.

The interprovincials take place over two days with each province playing the other provinces once. The format of each match is:

  • Two mens singles matches
  • Two ladies singles matches
  • One mens doubles
  • One ladies doubles

 

The Veterans Interprovincials are run each year in two age group bands:

  • Over 55 upwards (Super Seniors) – May
  • Over 35 to Over 50 – (Seniors) – September
