Well done everyone at the Johnston Campbell North of Ireland Open today!
The tournament finished on time despite some poor weather and the finals showed some excellent tennis to a large crowd of spectators.
Congratulations to Peter Bothwell and Caitlin McCullough who won the Mens and Ladies Singles titles. Peter beat Jordan McKeown 6-2 6-1 while Caitlin won 6-2 6-3 against Jessica Leeman.
Downshire welcomed Tennis Ireland President Clifford Carroll, Ulster Tennis President Greg O’Rawe, Lisburn Mayor Alan Givan and Lisburn Chamber of Commerce President Garry MacDonald to the finals and trophy presentation.
Thanks to everyone at Downshire for a great tournament all week and the hospitality on show today. In particular to William and Will Boyd and Ross McCarey for all their hard work in ensuring the tournament ran smoothly all week.
