Ulster Branch have decided to suspend / postpone activities at all grades and levels until April 19th (inclusive) from midnight.
The activities suspended / postponed include:
- The Provincial Academy.
- All Tennis Ireland sanctioned tournaments.
We will continue to liaise with Government officials and review the situation assessing the impact of these measures on our activities, competitions and programmes.
In the meantime, Ulster Branch is encouraging all affiliated clubs and their members to continue to follow all of the guidelines which have been provided by the Health Authorities.
While clubs may wish to keep certain local activities and facilities open, it is crucial that this is done within the recommended guidelines and that the welfare of your members and the public should be the number one priority. Please be aware that each club must make their decision themselves as to what activities are appropriate and ensure that all necessary hygiene and safeguarding procedures are in place.
Please do not attend sessions if you or any member of your family are suffering from any of the associated symptoms of the virus such as a temperature or persistent cough.
