Following the announcements by the Prime Minister and the First Minister of Northern Ireland Ulster Tennis will go ahead with planned activities this weekend.

We will continue to follow the advice and recommendations of Sport NI and the Government on any further changes and will communicate with you again directly if there are any other changes/announcements in this respect. However, as this is very much a period of uncertainty we advise all of our clubs to stay in touch with our website and social media for further updates. Please note that clubs should also follow the Government recommendations in relation to local gatherings etc.

While clubs may wish to keep certain local activities and facilities open, it is crucial that this is done within the recommended guidlelines and that the welfare of your members and the public should be the number one priority. Please be aware that each club must make their decision themselves as to what activities are appropriate and ensure that all necessary hygiene and safeguarding procedures are in place.

While the Easter period is not covered under the current guidelines, please bear in mind that the probability of Easter Camps / Activities being affected remains high at this point. Clubs should consider this point internally at this stage.

Please do not attend sessions if you are suffering from any of the associated symptoms of the virus such as a temperature or persistent cough.

We wish all our members good health over the coming weeks
