Tournament Location

The Ballycastle tournament is played during the July holiday week each year.

The tournament is set in the beautiful surroundings of Ballycastle, close to the beach, a great place to enjoy playing or watching tennis.

What events are there?

Juniors

Junior events start with Red ball (Under 8), Orange ball (Under 9) and Green ball (Under 10). Once players reach Under 12, they play with the full yellow ball. There are events for Under 12, 14 and 18 in both singles and doubles.

Seniors

Senior events are open to those 16 or over. There are singles, doubles and mixed events, as well as handicap events in doubles. Handicap events allow players of different standards to play at the same level.

Masters

Masters events start at Over 35 and run all the way up to Over 65. There are singles, doubles and mixed events in each age group. Check the tournament website for the rules about entering Masters event.
