Parks Tennis Schemes -Summer 2010

The first Parks Tennis NI programmes this summer kicked off at Hart Memorial School in Portadown and Hillsborough Village Centre on 5th July 2010 and proved extremely successful. Over forty under 18 players of all abilities enjoyed taking part in the fun games and activities organised thoughout the week. The schemes gave many of the participants their first experience of tennis and all of those registered were invited to attend future coaching sessions at their local Tennis Club. All of the schemes have been set-up in partnership with local tennis Clubs and local Councils.
The following Parks Tennis NI programmes organised at Larne and Irvinestown attracted over 50 participants over the weeks beginning 19th July and 26th July. All of the Parks Tennis schemes held to date have had an encouraging response and we would like to highlight that the next scheme has been arranged for 23rd to 25th August at Lurgan Park as follows;

Age Group: 6-17 yrs.
Date: Mon – Wed 23rd-25th August
Time: 1.30-4.30pm.
Rackets and balls provided
Fee: £10
