Tennis 10s Spring & Summer

Please see calendar below for details of upcoming Tennis 10s events this Spring and Summer. Dates and times may change so please review regularly.

Please note:

The qualifying age for tennis green tournaments is under 10 from 1st January 2010-therefore you must be born in the year 2000.

The qualifying age for tennis orange tournaments in Under 9 from 1st January 2010 -therefore you must be born in the year 2001.

The qualifying age for tennis red tournaments is Under 8 from 1st January 2010-therefore you must be born in the year 2002.

In all these events you must play in the appropriate age group unless you hold a current TI passport (please see http://www.tennisireland.ie/players/juniors/player_passport for details) i.e. If you were born in 2001 you must play in the orange tournament unless you have a TI passport to play in a green event. If you were born in 2002 you must play in the red tournament unless you have a TI passport to play in an orange event.

Please note that from September 2010 Tennis 10's events will be based on 2011 age groups. Therefore players born in 2002 and who are currently eligible to play on the Red Court will be eligible to play on the Orange Court from September 2010. Similarly, players born in 2001 who are currently eligible to play on the Orange Court will be eligible to play on the Green Court from September 2010.
